Yasir Saad

Bio

Yasir Saad is an Iraqi film editor and post-production specialist who has honed his craft through years of professional work and specialized workshops. He graduated with a Bachelor of Film and Television Arts from the University of Baghdad, College of Fine Arts, Directing Department, in 2014. His work spans a wide range of projects across diverse sectors and artistic mediums, including feature films, documentaries, and series.

His credits include Our River... Our Sky, Haffa Street, Captain Adel, Dialing, Close Your Eyes, and others — works that have premiered at prestigious international festivals including the Sarajevo Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Venice International Film Festival, and El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt.

My approach is rooted in a deep respect for the director's vision — shaping every cut, every color grade, and every sound layer with intention and precision. I believe that great editing is invisible: it serves the story, elevates emotion, and keeps the audience fully immersed. Whether working on drama, documentary, or film, I bring the same dedication to craft and detail to every frame.
